What a wonderful little breakfast spot! Nice selections of breakfast items made to order and pastries for grab and go. I highly recommend the signature breakfast sando featuring mango chutney on a Portuguese muffin. Totally exceeded my expectations. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed.
Josh and his team (including his soup-making mother) serve amazing food in this clean and classy spot in historic downtown Claremont. Breakfast, brunch, and lunch are creative classics that will leave you well-fed and happy you came. The grilled turkey gobbler is a winner! And the desserts are worth buying extra to take home. Oh, and if it’s on special, do not miss Josh’s mom’s Spicy Southwestern Corn Chowder!
My wife and I stopped in to get lunch. We shared a turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce sandwich and it was very good. It's a cute little place with a good selection of food choices. The deserts looked really good but we didn't try any. If you need a good quick lunch I would recommend trying this place out.
Food was pretty good. The English muffin got a little heavy after it had cooled of a little. Service was great. I'm not a huge fan of the esthetic but that's a me thing. The only thing if found a little odd was the fact that a place where the menu is 2/3s breakfast food has a tiny sign between menus saying they stop serving breakfast at 10:30.
I've always enjoyed the tasty food, quick service, and friendly atmosphere, but when I had to find a caterer for a memorial service, I discovered another wonderful side to Josh and his team. He met with me in person, made helpful suggestions, and provided useful advice. The trays of sandwiches and dessert bars that I ordered were perfect for the event, but it was his personal, caring attention that I want to extol. The Barn Cafe is true asset to the community.
I looove this restaurant. Anything that I've tried has been really great; I've never had a meal (...or coffee or dessert) that left me disappointed. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant itself is always well taken care of.

Everything I've eaten has been great. They have homemade baked goods and pesto all very yummy. Casual: Serve your own coffee, get your own napkins and utensils.
We loved stopping by this place...cool vibe and great food. We ordered the chicken pesto grilled sandwich and the grilled chicken and mushroom sandwich. Both were delicious. And we ended with a YUMMY cinnamon roll and coffee. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
